A joint project with ARA SARGSYAN Foundation, dedicated to the famous sculptor.
In gratitude to the lasting legacy of Ara Sargsyan, a bright representative of monumental sculpture in Soviet Armenia, the founder of the Academy of Fine Arts and Union of Artists, the Academician of the Academy of Fine Arts of the USSR.
Ara Sargsyan's idea was to create a dynamic mirror-like composition that would be viewed equally from both sides. This synthesis of high and all sculpture has no precedent in Armenian sculpture.

NAVASARD
MAKE YOUR DAY SPECIAL
The word “Navasard” is composed of the roots “Nav” (new) and “sard” (year), which literally translates into “New Year”.
In the Old Calendar, Navasard begins on August 11, when every year, in the ancient Armenian observatory, Karahunj, the “Hayk” constellation becomes visible, which is most known as “Orion” constellation. Hayk ascends to his Heavenly Throne at 04:00 in the morning. The “New Year”celebration lasts almost a whole month and terminates on September 9.
